Have a question? Maybe the answer is below!
Q. I spotted a language issue in the app. What should I do?
A. Send a Slack message to the Localisation Team (#localisation-team) or an email to localisation.team@deliveroo.co.uk with the screenshot, the issue and how you think it should be corrected. The Localisation Team will check and make the changes if these are needed.
Q. I get a lot of Phrase notifications, how do I stop them?
A. Login to Phrase, go to your account, click on notification and disable the notifications for the projects you have been granted access to.
Q. I work in the legal team, how do I work with the Localisation Team?
A. Unfortunately the Localisation Team doesn’t support legal translations, but we have a collaboration with a translation agency called RWS who should be able to help you out. You can read more about the process here.
Q. I work in a local market and we want to localise a document. What should we do?
A. Please get in touch with the Localisation Team (#localisation-team) to discuss the project first. The team will then advise on the best workflow, timeline and budget.
Q. I work in comms, how do I work with the Localisation Team?
A. Check the workflow for Marketing, it should be very similar. If you are unsure, please contact the Localisation Team (#localisation-team).
Q. My dedicated Localisation Manager is on holiday and I have a question. Who should I contact?
A. If your query is about a project that you have already briefed in, your Localisation Manager will have handed it over to another team member and informed you of this. In case of a new project, you can still submit a request via the form, and depending on the circumstances, you request will either be processed by another Localisation Team member, or your usual Localisation Manager upon their return.
