If you need something localised, please reach out to the appropriate Localisation Manager. They provide project management for all requests. Localisation Specialists and freelance translators are not responsible for project management.
Who we are
We are four in-house employees: three localisation managers and one localisation specialist. We sit within the Tech Org's Experience Team. Beside our in-house team, we have a network of hand-picked freelance translators, and internal topic advisors.
Despite the technical nature of our work, the Localisation Team members do not come from a technical background. Most of us have studied languages at university and have work experience from agencies and/or other multinational businesses.
Localisation Managers & Specialists
Localisation Managers oversee and optimise global localisation requests and strategic initiatives. And, Elise, our Localisation Specialist handles localisation for the French and Belgian markets.

Freelance Translators & Internal Advisors
Our freelance translators and internal advisors support the in-house Localisation Team. They provide additional language and special topic support. In many cases, these experts have worked with Deliveroo for many years. We consider them an extension of our team.
The Localisation Team may also involve local market representatives. These co-workers review translations and test the product make sure they accurately reflect the intended experience. They might also consult with regional legal teams to ensure changes are compliant with local laws.
